Abstract

The development of the Oksibil Urban Area as a center of government and service activities in Pegunungan Bintang Regency faces significant challenges in building and environmental planning. This community service activity aims to assist the Regional Government in identifying and analyzing existing conditions, as well as formulating concepts and designs for building and environmental planning in the Oksibil Urban Main Road Corridor. The Oksibil Urban Main Road Corridor has strategic potential as the backbone of urban activities that connects vital city functions, such as trade and services, government, education, health, as well as public spaces, spatial planning and aesthetics, accessibility and economic/commercial connectivity. In addition to its potential, there are also several problems, namely road and drainage infrastructure problems, irregular land use, lack of public space planning and urban landscape, suboptimal public facilities and city services, the absence of local urban public transportation, lack of development control and coordination between agencies. Based on the issue of building and environmental planning problems, the vision for the development of the RTBL Area can be formulated, namely "Arrangement of the Oksibil-Boromokot Street Corridor in Oksibil Urban Area as an Environmentally Aware City Space, with Local Cultural Character, and Supporting Spatial Integration and Community Activities".
