Abstract
Gadgets are electronic devices that are practical and useful for humans, what makes
this gadget different from other electronic devices is that it has a very rapid
development and updates in each development and has practical properties in its use.
This study aims to (1) find out whether the use of gadgets has a significant effect on
learning interest. (2) to find out whether interest in learning and the use of gadgets have
a significant effect on social behavior. (3) to find out whether the use of gadgets has a
significant effect on social behavior with learning interests and interests as intervening
variables. This study uses a quantitative research model with a type of case study
approach, data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires and
documentation. then data analysis through SEM Partial Square (PLS). The results of
this study were concluded that: (1) the use of gadgets had a positive and significant
effect on positive behavior with a path coefficient value of 0.310 and a significance of
0.001. And the use of gadgets has a positive and significant effect on negative behavior
with a path coefficient value of 0.691 and a significance of 0.001. (2) the use of gadgets
has a positive and significant effect on learning interest with a path coefficient value of
0.703 and a significance of 0.000. And learning interest had a positive effect on positive
behavior of 0.656 and significance of 0.000.
